Sometimes I wonder with this very niche market, who is going to buy this type of scanner and how many they can sell in a year?

How they can pay the employees?

Plus someone spending that much money will need a really guaranteed after sales service. How can buyers be really sure it would exist if the company who make this machine is not even well known.

Moreover, those cutting edge technology piece of equipment would become completely OBSOLETE within just a few years. Making the investment even riskier. [Frown]

(Anybody still willing to spend $$$ for a full set of linear-editing betacam suite, for example?)

Bryan, it seems that Ebay's new Policy is to offer another "similar" item when an auction has endend. You can still find the add you were looking for by clicking on the word "l'annonce" and then scroll down. I hope this link will work :

Makes me wonder how much of the price is for the scanner and how much for the workstation computer and software.
