All of a sudden my spam box is filling up with about 40 per day of general spam is there a way to stop it it is absolutely pathetic and ridiculous any help is greatly appreciated

Chip I don't think it can be stopped but you can check all the spam by putting a check mark in the small box at the top of the emails next to archive this will check all emails if there are some you want to keep then simply un-check those then at the top next to delete there is the spam button hit that and that will get rid of that bunch its time consuming you must have given your email address to an outfit that sold it to others. I have a yahoo acct. as well don't use it for much these days mostly for signing up for things I dont want in my regular email.

Wasn’t there a option to delete all spam automatically so we would never see it?

there should be go to settings and have all spam put in the spam folder.

Sometimes spams from different companies are sent by the same sender and unsuscribing from one will remove you from the general list (there is an unsuscribe options de in the mail). It may worth trying.

It was going to the spam box I was getting up to 60 per day so finally I close the account and open up a new email address and yes I’ve updated my history here
