...the French director Claude Lelouch is shooting a sequel of his film shot in 1966 "Un homme et une femme" (A Man And A Woman) with the same actors.

I ran the original film for my Film Society some time in the 60s.
I shudder at the thought of seeing those wonderful actors looking like old age pensioners.
Anouk is 86 years of age at present, and Jean-Louis is 88.

Since it's an event for the French cinema, Claude Lelouch was the guest of the news today on France 2, the national TV channel. He said that, and it was a surprise, his favourite film was a short he made in the '70s in Paris. He filmed, without any permission or truck a car at high speed. It took 18 minutes to go fromage a place to another. At that time, there was no speed limitations in Paris and the authorities were more than tolerant. The journalists from the news tried to repeat the exercice (with autorisation this time). It took them over 40 minutes. Other time...

Dominique...I love the movie "A Man and a Woman." I saw it in the theatre when it came out and I have it on disk. I prefer watching it with the French sound track and subtitles over the English dubbed version. It's a beautiful movie. Difficult to believe it has been 50 years.

I posted some screen caps back in 2012:
