Remember when I had bought that absolutely, completely red mess of a collection of McDonalds commercials?

This was my last "active" search for commercials (well, you're always looking for this or that singular commercial), I had bad luck finding unfaded McDonalds commercials. Apparantly, they used, as a general rule, quick fade eastman film stock ...

Well, I finally found a fellow in Oregon, one state over, that had a collection of McDonaldland commercials that were amazingly unfaded! They are at least a 9 out of 10 color-wise and they ranged from 1973-75! I looked at the sprocket area when I received them and while they are on eastman film stock, there are those wonderful "dot" patterns that add up to "4B", so this must be why they have held up well.

So ... YAY! A search is done!

here are some screenshots from these commercials, just to share with you!

Grizzly?!

Naw, that will probably go until were all old and grey!

A Thanks to Doug for his help with the screenshots.

Just to "ad" some extra info, (haha!)

I think that the reason WHY these 73-75 commercials have held up so well colorwise, over the later 76 an onward (until the early 80's) is that these, while eastman, have on the sproket area, "4B"
