Pathescope really hit their stride in 1933 with the release of the 200B. I think this is by far the most beautiful projector I own. I say own because I still think some of the Heurtier trifilm ones are the best looking overall. This is the only one of my many projectors my wife will let me display which I think says that its beauty extends beyond just a cinegeek like myself. Here is a pic of it resting atop a bookshelf in our condo. While the 200B gives off a really nice bright and steady picture I still prefer the Specto overall.

Also here is the first press I have regarding the 200B in the pathescope monthly. It is from Feb 1933. I am missing the Jan issue that year so maybe there is something in that.

Dino, I have said for years that the 200B IS the best looking projector ever made. It is so classic it deserves to be on display when not used, preferably with a reel laced up.

What a gorgeous looking machine Dino! As Graham says, this is one to keep out on display.
My favoutite display piece is my 1922 Pathe Baby - it looks great when decked up with the 300ft super attachment arms and the drive motor. Never fails to get a comment from visitors. [Smile]
But the 200b is definately in a class of its own.
