For our Anglo-saxons members, it is of course not a discovery but it is for me. I got mine this morning and I was more than impressed by the work done. It is very complete.

It is advertised on Graham Newnham's website. Why didn't I get it earlier ?

I thought it would be relatively small but the postman had to knock at my door to hand me a massive padded bag containing Maurice Trace's fabulous work of love for the hobby.
Where on earth did he get all that information?
Don't forget he also has a 9.5mm silent version.

I have one of the earlier versions and an earlier Silent version. Maurice trace is a regular contributor to the Group 9.5 magazine. He has been researching the Pathescope releases for many many years and continues to do so. There is always some snippet of information he seems to be able to dig out. One of the problems faced by researching these old films is that very often the titles were changed by Pathescope and parts of many were issued as separate shorter films. They also sometimes muddled up the names of the actors !! Hardly any, were ever issued uncut or had the original titles and credits. This was a deliberate policy as it made the purchase of the films affordable for other than the very wealthy film collector and home cinema enthusiast. I know of no other company that ever did anything similar with the exception of perhaps the G.B.Moviepaks 400ft extracts at a considerably higher price however. Ken Finch. [Smile]
