A boxed 9,5 projector used to show "glamour" films. The system allows continuous projection and is designed to start with a coin insert.

You're not the only one, Clinton [Wink]

Luigi, this seller is famous among French collectors and filmakers. He's a kind of reference so often have rare items but he is definitly not reputed for being cheap. He comes every year at Argenteuil (he was also at Roubaix) and he has be saying for a the last few years that it was his last time. Fortunately for our eyes, he's still there :-)

Yes, Dom, I often buy from "geomel", it is true, is not cheap, I paid a lot of euro for small accessories, but it's really a resource, I've always wondered where you he the stuff, including this beautiful projector!

Luigi, "geomel" is Alain Gomet. Alain Gomet is a former Pathé director. He's one of the four fondators of Les Cinglés du Cinéma of Argenteuil. He has often rare items as he is consulted as an expert from all parts of France to estimate collections.

Ah, now it's more clear!

An info about this projector: the film remains... in loop and had to be restarted the projector? Or not?

I'm not sure I understand your question. The film permanantly runs in the projector. The limit is the time given by the coin.

What a great machine!

What's very interesting about the way it works is it pulls the film for projection out of the middle of a spiral and lays the projected film back onto the outside:

-Exactly like one of these:
