Just a note to say this is not an exclusive 9.5mm event at Pimlico tomorrow. I will be taking up some Super8 shorts amongst other bits and pieces for the Bring and Buy Stall if anyone is interested. Prices from £2.00 upwards depending on condition. Ideal for bargain hunters!! Ken Finch.

Had a good time there, bought a couple of short films and had a good chat with people. Looking forwards to the next event.

I was there from 11.10 till 3p.m. Did not see you Dom and probably did not recognize others or they would not recognize me! It was not very well attended this time unfortunately. It may have to be the last one!! I did manage to sell some of the short films I had taken up. It is a shame that so many Super 8 colour prints have gone pink which are otherwise in excellent condition. Good sound, no joins or scratches. ken Finch.

Hello Ken. The two threads about the Spring Fair are now in the 9.5 :-) I was indeed surprised I didn't see you as you announced you would be there. Now I have the explanation : you arrived when I left. I took the picture making my "good bye tour". The doors opened a little bit earlier than announced. You're right about the attendance, I also noticed that there were less people. As far as I'm concerned, it was certainly not a disappointing visit. As I reported before, I came back home with several 9.5 sound films and, as a foreigner, it is always nice to spend some time in the wonderful city of London. I must add that meeting the British collectors is also a great joy. I hope there will be a Spring Fair in 2017. It is always difficult to know why people come or not but you cannot base a cancell decision on one year. So let's hope there will be a next event next year and prepare ourselves to support it. I hope to see you in October at Harpenden ; I already bought my train tickets :-)

Ok. [Smile]
There was some splicing tape or striping machine? For 9,5mm, of course. I am very curious on the market of these two products!

Hi Dom, I hope to be at Harpenden as usual. I mainly go these days to socialise with my fellow Group 9.5 members. Sadly so many of my old "friends" are no longer with us or not sufficiently mobile to be able to attend. On the positive side, it is nice to see an increasing number of younger enthusiasts attending. Some being born after the demise of Pathescope!! Ken Finch.
