Does anyone know the first year an 8mm print of Laurel and Hardy’s 1930 Blotto was made for purchase (for home projection)? Was MGM’s Blotto re-release in 1937, ever sold in 8mm from 1937-1939 by Castle Films or another company, or did Hollywood's Production Code (against showing intoxication) prevent an 8mm home print from being released during that time? I know Blotto was released in 8mm decades later, but I’m hoping to find out what year it was first available in 8mm.
