I have a Sears Du-All 8 584.92090 that I got at a thrift store that's in cosmetically good shape. When I plug it in and switch it on in either motor or lamp mode, the motor comes on fast, but the run/rewind lever is stuck at rewind. I can't get it to move whether the projector is on or off. It doesn't feel jammed, more like something is locking it in place. I've tried switching the film size lever, moving the forward/still/reverse lever and changing the normal/slow/step switch. None of them does anything. I haven't been able to find a user or service manual for troubleshooting, and I basically don't know anything about film projectors. Is this a common problem in old projectors? Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
