  • Elmo K-100 SM Need Film Feed Assy

I have been working on repairing my Elmo K-100 for a very long time. I felt good enough to tackle it again this week, however I have dismantled the film feed ASSY multiple times to try and repair it, but with no success. The initial problem began when I discovered a crack in a film feeder part that helps stabilize and control the tension of the film entering the gate. I've glued it, but it really needs replacement. The result is a very loud clicking sound when the projector is running in the forward mode and the picture jitters up and down. It runs perfectly fine in reverse and is very quiet. But as soon as you load the film in forward it becomes a loud thrashing machine.

I haven't found a repair manual for this projector, but thinking the only solution is a donor part. I think replacing the whole feeder unit is necessary.

I know it's a shot in the dark... But if anybody has one of these machines that is not running for some other reason and has the entire feed unit intact please contact me. I prefer if it was somebody here in the US because of shipping costs.

The whole feeder unit is easily removed by just removing three screws. One screw on the front and two on the rear inside of the projector.
