  • Horror film broadcasting in the UK 1970s-80s

    I'm sure quite a few UK forum members used to watch the BBC horror double bills on Saturday nights and and often ITV would have a horror season on a Friday night too. I came across this interesting article on the showing of films (in particular horror films) on the BBC and ITV networks back in the 70s – 80's, and how the business of purchasing rights and scheduling worked. There is also a brief mention of super 8 and video further on.
