I was relisting my auctions and I noticed that, though i would put media mail and 4.50 or so in shipping, when I looked at the auction just minutes later, it showed 10 dollars shipping and by economy shipping, which i had NOT selected.
I finally figured out what was going on. For some odd reason, when i would relist, the auction was defaulting to shipping being according to buyers location instead of flat rate same for all. When I fixed it and put it up as "same flat rate for all' (that's not what it actually states), the shipping stayed down where I wanted it all along.
Strange that it would do that. No wonder some people were probably staying away from my auctions. I wonder if this is because Ebay knows that it makes more when shipping charges are more?
