Not such a fair more of a event!
This young man had just taken delivery of his new Suzuki 125cc bike and being somewhat over excited decided he would ride it the round trip of 550 miles over 2 days.
A long haul on a small bike but but after several hours arrived.
A show biz friend had booked me into a b&b hotel which was owned by the parents of Sabrina who many of you brits will remember i am sure. At the time I had no idea who they were have to say.
All I can remember is a painful backside and a very busy event. Mr Shapps spotted me as I used to go into his London shop every week along with a couple of other London traders.
If you attended it you may have noticed my blue like gleaming outside perhaps.
Some of the films purchased i still have many nice and pink, but it was a experience demonstrating how keen many of us youngsters were to attend. I did join another rider who was going to the Lake District but lost him olong the way.
A short story of enthusiasm and the things we do for the love of our beloved film.
Or as one film fan told me years later
"You must have been bloody mad"
