I find amazing that we can still get brand new prints form the "German Lab" through Steve Osborne (http://thereelimage.jimdo.com/) I have been dreaming of buying a couple of this prints for a long time. Laksmi has posted pictures of Captain America and Empire Strikes Back. It would be great to post a list of the titles available form the Lab and pictures of this prints. I know Raiders of the Lost Ark is available and I would love to see pictures of this and other titles.

Thanks Julian I hope people post a lot of screen shots of German stuff here. I would love a copy of Blade Runner or Avengers etc.

I will soon have my Raiders of the Lost Ark ... Will post pictures when it's up and running (might be without a scope lens, as my bracket can't hold the slightly heavy Rectimascope lens :-))

Ludwig seems like a perfectionist to me. If he is doing the striping I'm betting it is the best that it's going to be. I'm happy he'll be starting to use estar.

Steve Osborne is now doing striping himself.

Gary,

I might be wrong, however I believe that Steve is offering a striping service to those who have films without audio tracks. New releases will still be striped at the lab.

For those who would prefer a stripping service, that's another story......

I don't own any but I agree that it would be great to see a list of what German lab has put out and what they are currently putting out.

Captain America
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

what else?

Also, I'd be interested in knowing more about this German lab. For instance how do we know it's German? I mean it all seems so mysterious. I couldn't find a site or any info from old posts. I just hear it mentioned. I feel like we're talking about a mystery from the TV show Lost! haha

Vidar ...

It looks like yours is an acetate like mine. Image is very good, even if the color is slightly lesser than it could be, being on acetate. I'm sure the polyester version is better.
