Hello all,

I'm so glad I found this place - I've been searching all over for information and I can't find it. Someone took the power cable from my 109D projector and I need to replace it. I use it when I teach film studies classes as it's a great way to bring a little reality to the medium, suggest the age of film etc. Unfortunately I don't seem to have the words to describe the cable to run a good search for it. Is there a name (or site) you can suggest I start looking with? At the moment the only possible route I have is to hunt for a complete new projector (someone is selling a straight 109 locally in apparently great condition, but they aren't listing a price and I've no sense of what to offer).

Anyway, that's a long winded opener - I'm hunting for a power cable for a Keystone 109-D and I've no idea what to call it to get my search to a successful end!

Post a pic of the socket on the projector. Close-up would be best.

It looks like those prongs may be standard width apart. You may be able to trim the sides of non-grounded extension cord end so it would fit into the rounded perimeter of the socket. Measure and post the distance between the prongs and also the diameter of the socket hole. I have many old projector power cords laying around and I have had Keystone projectors so I may have what you need. However, I would need those measurements.

I bought this cord for my Bolex. I needed to widen the socket holes a bit for that projector. However...I just tried it on my Keystone 109 and it worked fine. I don't think you will have to adjust the socket holes at all, but it's easy enough to do with a screw driver [Smile]

Glad to help Richard and hopefully this thread will help others looking for a replacement cord. I also want to welcome you to the forum. I'd love to hear what reactions your students have to the projector and films.
