I suppose at £2103(GBP) that this Buy It Now cost is not excessive, particularly as it has a zoom lens, but the carriage cost of £280(GBP) seems very much over the top.

It is a buy it now. About the post and packing costs, it says : "Les frais d'expédition sont incompressibles ils comprennent, le temps d'emballage du salarié, le carton, l' adhésif, les frais administratifs" (shipping costs cannot be reduced they include the worker time spent on the packing, the cardboard, the tape and the administrative costs). Tape and cardboard seem expensive in their area...
