Has anyone seen (or even mentioned here) about Deadly Mantis for $225.00 on ebay? I realize it's sealed and super 8 sound but that's insane. I do recall he had it for $135.00 or $150.00, now he's well over that.

John,the only thing I can add is;
IF YOU PAY THAT KIND OF MONEY,
FOR SOMETHING THAT ISN'T RARE,
YOU'RE DEFINATELY CERTIFIABLE,
AND SHOULD BE TAKEN INTO CARE.
but then who gave us the misnomer "common sense?"

What is rare is the full length feature on 16mm. I found a print after searching for years. The Castle digest is nicely edited; I have it in Super 8 & 16mm. What concerns me about original shrink-wrapped prints is the possibility of Vinegar Syndrome after so many years.

Hi Joe,call me old fashioned,but I am very suspicious of these
"shrinkwrapped prints" as it is quite easy to re wrap stuff
and pass it as new.If you have access to one of these machines
away you go.

A very good point Hugh! A unscrupulous seller would do just that so that the item could be sold at a higher price.
