Have to agree with Doug on this, I have often commented on scilly prices etc BUT< where a film has a START bid which is reasonable, what it goes up to is then up to the buyers. I myself recently sold a 400ft scope copy of Cant stop the music, that film was 375ft. I started it at what i thought to be a reasonable price but i was more than happy at what i got for it. It paid for the full feature of Waterloo on 16mm. Had i have started the bid at £100 then i would have called myself some names and would expect some comments to, but i think as long as an opening bid is reasonable then the skys the limit i guess.
At the other end of the scale i also listed for 9.99 the LPP scope Carousel extract June is Bustin out all over. Unfortunatly for me it did only receive the opening bid but i was more than happy to learn it was a well respected member of the forums who bought it so i know its going to a good home and will be appreciated. Some you win some you lose.
Now then, if you really want to see the sort of stuff that deserves a ridicule then you need to look here
