Boy! You're going to get a good selling price on that "2010". I mean, I have it, (well, mine is on 600ft and I'm missing reel 3, 25 minutes ... sob), and it is a very good print, but I'm surprised as to where it is now! Success! [Smile]

My ebay wouldn't allow me to see the "Empire" closing ... what did it get up to? Just curious. [Smile]

Considering the title thats pretty reasonable, i prefer the empire strikes back to the original Star Wars film.

Interesting, Tom ...

I am really divided about these two films as well. Of course, my future was permanently "scarred" and changed forever by Star Wars, but in a purely story level, I do prefer Empire.

WOW! I'm surprised that it didn't go further as well! Has the "magic" Star Wars super 8 prints finally started to lose they're value level, or was it just folks not willing to bid it up? I mean, it WAS bid up, but not even up to 900. That's actually fairly low for a Star wars trilogy print.

And the condition is stunning.
There is also a funny fact visible;
when I was in the cinema in the 80s
and the title was crawling up, it said
DAS IMPERIUM SCHLÄGT ZÜRUCK
which was a writing error.
The „Ü“ is at the wrong place.
It should have been
DAS IMPERIUM SCHLÄGT ZURÜCK ‚
This error found its way to the Super 8 print
and is now an everlasting memory!
