Georges Milies was a visionary in the evolution of the film medium. Here is a colored version of his humorous and technically brilliant film The Devilish Tenant . Each cell was meticulously hand-painted. This was the 100 years ago equivalent to today's frame-by-frame rotoscoping, but without the aid of computerized tools such as Photoshop or After Effects [Smile] Truly amazing!

Hi Janice,
Just had a look at the "The Devilish Tenant" on YouTube. I have a slightly abridged copy of this film on Super 8mm purchased years ago from Perry's Movies. Always found it to be a popular "starter" film and sometimes had requests for repeat showings!
Best wishes,
Gordon
