Havn't been able to get these for a long time now, but my Brother has found a company in Plymouth that can make them. They are coming back to us early next week with a price and with what minmun qty we can order. Depending on this i was wondering if anyone else may be interested in me supplying these.

Hi Tom, That all sound very interesting. I have also been doing some work on the moulding of GS etc guides and someone is going to give me a price for making the upper sprocket guide for the GS1200 which will also fit the ST600, 160, 180 sc18 sc30 etc etc. I have a guide which had alittle wear but has been rebated to stop any further wear for the time being so this could now be used as a patern for running further copies off. I will let you know how this pans out.
Kev.

My brother is going into the shop beginning of next week so will be in touch on the boxes. i believe the 800ft to be a popular size, apparantly around 2-3 years ago the company that made them for Derann had a mis-hap and the part of the machine used to make this size box became damaged and was too expensive to replace, hence why thier not availible now seems a bit extreme but lets see what happens. Good news from Kevin on the guides. I cant remember which chap put me in touch with Dial electronics but would like to say thank you very much, today i recieved two TA7139 IC's for the ST1200Hd, these havn't been availible through Elmo for many years. And only £14 for the two inc P+P.

Tom,
One thing to remember when dealing with these "old" parts is that you might have stumbled on the last existing stock of the item. (I think I found "Dial" which had stock in your country, there was also a US distributor that had some.)
I've run into this with various transistors as well. Often it's cheaper to buy the dozen lot to get both the price break and cut down your shipping expenses.
It is usually cheaper to buy electronic parts from distributors than from Elmo or Eiki for that matter.
