I have a 550-foot movie (s8) that I need the sound from. That is, I need to transfer sound-only to an mp3.

The movie is a print, so there are only a couple of splices; the sound is on the main stripe. I am trying to find someone who will play the film, and record the sound onto their computer to get an mp3 for me.

By any chance does anyone out there have a working s8 projector that plays good sound (really good, like a Beaulieu or an Elmo) and would be willing to play this movie on their projector, and record the sound?

I could pay a modest amount to make it worth you time.

Most likely I would mail you the movie.

Hi William...I live in Sunnyvale. If you want to drop the film off I can record the audio for you.

Send me a PM with your email address and we can try and work it out.

A superb job of sound transfer by Ms. Glesser!!! Thanks a mil Janice! And by the way, I had very few edits I needed to make to sync it to the movie (a 20-minute film).
