Hello everybody here! I just got a standard 8mm film feature, "Kriemhild's Revenge" by Fritz Lang. The film stripe looks grey if held against the light. I was quiet , but the projected image looks very good, not grey at all. A clue anybody about what kind of film stock that is? I never saw this before...Thank you very much!

Hi Michael, its usually a film cleaner used on it that does that, It may be the stock but Ive had a few that are like that from being cleaned, and yes usually they look fine upon projection but look very odd up to the light. It could be certain stocks that react like that to certain chemicals. Its quite usually to get it. Nice film, Best mark.
