Hi there,
I've been out of circulation for a while but I've been looking at a couple of the projectors I have which both seem to have the same problem. One is a Rollei dual gauge silent P830, the other is a Bauer T180 dual gauge sound. Both machines I suspect came from the Silma factory in Italy.
I find that the projected image is not in focus all the way across and I think it is because the aluminium arm that presses the gate has some play and is no longer holding the film flat, am I on the right track or is it likely to be something else and probably more importantly can it be fixed?
John

Does the problem show on every film or only on certain ones?
It might be a defective (worn?) pressure plate - that's made of plastic.
Or you may have to encrease the pressure arm strength: there should be a small bolt near the area where the arm is attached. But do not exaggerate.

Hope this helps.
