Did all the Eumig P8 models 1955-1960 use the same size belts? They all had the same basic body type.

Hi Tom
All the belts are the same on the P8 Eumigs.
They are a simple round section belt.
Available from most "O" ring belt sellers.
I stock them at Projector Heaven as quite a few P8 Eumigs come though the doors here & I am always ready for them.
Let me know if you can't find one locally.
Most of the old belts are in semi liquid form by the time I see them. Almost like black toothpaste. If this goo gets on your hands or clothes its very difficult to clean remove. Brakecleaner Spray is a suitable cleaner in these cases, dissolving the rubber so you can wipe it off or blow it off with air.
These belts should be run quite loose so they must be dry & grippy or they may slip.
Finally, you may need to adjust the Spring steel "top pulley clip" by slight bending of the sides, to ensure the belt swaps pulleys properly from the idle position to the drive position.

Good luck with it.

Eumig used a very soft rubber-mixture for P8-series.
Standard O-rings show about double hardness, compared to Eumig spec. I recommend to employ the softer grade.
Less slip, better start up, soft start increased film life.
