We are getting a fiberglass swimming pool installed in my back yard today. I have been filming the whole process. I am doing a time lapse with a Bolex Macrozooom 160 super 8 with an intervalometer that takes a shot every minute. I'm also filming it in 8mm with my Bolex H8 Rex 4.
While they were delivering the fiberglass shell to my house I was filming it on the truck. The truck driver came up and asked if that was a Bolex camera. We started talking and it turns out he had purchased a Bolex D8L 8mm camera when his daughter was born about 55 years ago. He said he has a box of film that he can't watch. I told him I have a closet full of projectors and offered to give him a Bell & Howell model 253-A for free. I had recently picked it up at a garage sale for $5 and cleaned it up and got it running again. He insisted on giving me $5 dollars and told me how exited his wife will be to watch the old movies. He said he used to race cars and his friend raced hydroplanes. They have a lot of old footage of that. I hope they enjoy the old films.

Make sure to post it on YouTube when you're done so we can see how it turned out :-)
