Hey All I have a 8mm Bell and Howell old manual projector, that usually runs great. Recently in the forward position the image is jittery and the top loop is slipping. Any suggestions, I have tried cleaning the gates, and that is something I do regularly any way. Sorry for not having its number, but when I thought of this, I wasn't near it. I hope this is a simple solution, and not the beginning of the end. Thanks Brad

Does the upper loop get bigger or smaller. I suspect you might say biger in which case the claw could have gone out of adjustment or the claws mechanism might need lubricating.

Hi Kevin The upper loop is getting bigger. What I clean the gates with, should I go over the metal rollers that the claws clamp down on. Its a liquid lubricant called Zeecoat that is desighned for film gates. Unfortunately this company has gone out of buisness, do to the film need going out, due to video etc. I think this is a great product, but the bottle I have is getting smaller and smaller. Thanks Brad
