I went to use this yesterday I was going to test the recording functions when i turned it on nothing happend but i did see some light smoke emit from the back side i quickly unplugged it and took the back off I could not see anything that looked like it fried there is no motor noise just the lamp comes on has anybody had this happend to them with a projector? could it be the transformer? a switch? thanks for any info [Smile]

The one thing which tends to happen to electronic equipment when its left for a long time is that a capacitor will fail when the machine is fired up.

You will really need to let someone look at it for you thats good at electronics.

sounds good [Smile] are these expensive to replace? I did not pay much for it.
