Kodak M100 projector with the lens.

Having read forum posts about the possibility of using this with other machines, I thought I would pass this on.

I would love to have the machining skills to put this lens on my Elmo (not to mention having the extra cash to buy it) but I figured someone here might want this for Christmas:

Do a search if you don't know about this lens. It's special, based on those who have used it here.
From on what I have read, the machine was a real 'showpiece' for Kodak, at least in terms of image quality.

Claus.

The M100 is a beautifully made projector and produces an incredible looking picture, but the sound quality is very poor compared with Elmo's, Sankyo's, and Eumig's. I had an M100 at one time, and I kept the Ektar lens, which is a killer lens, better than even the Elmo f1.0. I use the Ektar on my Eumig 938 and I get a better looking picture than the GS1200, although not as bright. The $300.00 asking price is way too high though, even with the Ektar lens. But if you want that lens..........
