On the last minute before the bidding ended, I placed my bid for this title "42nd Street (2 x 400") .
I was surprised that I was the only one bidding for it and it was sold for GBP 0.99!!.
I re-checked again this seller completed items, and this listing was his/her second time for the same item. The first one was not sold although it was GBP 0.99 starting price too.
I checked the category, and found it was not in a wrong category.
I checked again if he/she made a crazy postage cost, but it seems normal for Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded within UK for 2 x 400".
Now, I am afraid myself if I have misinterpreted the description. Am I going to get the full films and not box only, right??
Or is there a very low interest for this title now? as far as I knew this is one of a good film musical...!

quote: the films themselves are in great condition although the boxes are a little bit scruffy at the edges, minimum lenght of each film is 100 mtrs and dont forget this is part one and part two.
Looks like a film auction to me, it mentions film condition and duration.
There were only 19 views and I was one of them since I clicked on your link. It appears that none of the people scanning ebay when this was listed wanted the title, so you got it for a song. That has happened to me a few times, and in each case I sent the seller more than the opening bid because I felt guilty ( yes there is one of me born every minute )

Yes Michael I realise this is a digest (with 2 x 400" spool). But still GBP 0.99 shows a low interest at the moment in UK, doesn't it?
And I don't think, this is a good steal since this listing has been in Ebay for 20 days !!! ( two times listing without any bidder).
Unless, I did a mistake in reading the description.

It wouldn't have come up in a search for "super 8 movie" or "super 8mm movie" on ebay, so it may not have been noticed by a lot of collectors for this reason.

Yes I missed it twice! Maybe the first was while I was away in April for 10 days, and maybe the second was while I was catching up with correspondence afterwards!
