I got the print today. It's a condensation of all 12 chapters. And a nice print. Here's a couple of screen shots [Big Grin]

Flash Gordon Conquers The Universe

My hours of searching EBay and forums has once again paid off. I got this Niles Release for 60.00 including shipping. It's S8 sound on 4 x 400' reels in original box. And the box art is terrific [Eek!]

How's the picture quality? I was skeptical because it's Niles.

I'm also wondering if it's four of the original chapters or is it a condensation of all twelve?

If I remember correctly, that's one of the harder ones to find!

I have "Rocketship", however, "Mars Attacks the World" seems to be the most common, but the one you found doesn't come up all that often. Good job!

I've owned other Niles releases in those thin plastic boxes with artwork, very similar to the later Walton releases. E.g. the 400' versions of 'Young Hannah Queen of the Vampires', 'Stamping Ground' and 'The House of Seven Corpses'. It expect it was the same artist working on at least some of them but that 'Flash Gordon' box looks particularly good.

I was impressed with those boxes as well. They had a particularly good artist. It is reminiscent of the old posters advertising such epic serials, (and I "taint talkin" Captian Crunch!)
