The difference between an Elmo ST180 and a ST600 is probably only the colour. The 600 are mainly black, whilst the 180 is in a quite attractive silver-green.

I think the ST180 was reference to the film capacity for the European market (180 metres which equates to approximately 600ft). It should have been given the title ST183 which is closer to 600ft but they probably thought ST180 sounded better. The ST600 was directed at the UK and US market ( film capacity 600ft). As Maurice rightly says the only difference was the colour of the projector.

ok Thanks I was just curious the trv must be a ST-600 since it will hold a 600ft reel but has the color of a ST-180. Edwin, I don't see the part your offering under the TRV S8 parts which is what mine is, will this work? I just ordered one from Leon Norris.
