Help!
I tried to use a 1200' reel today and the rear film guide that is supposed to slide out of the way, does until the take up reel starts moving, then it jumps over to rub against the reel. Is there a reasonably easy fix or is it time to take it to a pro?

Hi Dick, If i remember right it push's in and then flip to the right, are you sure your flipping it over right, sounds odd that it should be not holding in it's 1200ft position.

Chris:
Thanks for the fast reply. Yes, I am pushing it to the right as far as it will go. When it catches, it stays in that position, but the slightest touch will cause it to jump back to it's standard position. Very maddening

Very strange one that unless something is broken. I would check it aginst the page Tom sends you from the manual. Normally the guide sits well back out of the way.
