Hi David, I made a ring to your number but you did not answer. My mobile is +39 347 3729313 (speck slowly because my "englishian" (english+italian pronunciation ) is not the best for the Shakespeare language... Anyway I think you have to open your mail because it's very very difficult to do the spelling of my bank account at the phone!

Hi David, what do you think if I send to you my bank account via "private message" on this forum? Otherwise I'll send to you a normal letter like we said at telephone! Bye

Hi David, the package is ready to go! Important: Kevin says in UK the voltage is 240 v.(thank you Kevin!!) So I connected the supply wire to the P3 socket. Anyway if the voltage is lower at your home you can connect that wire to the P2 socket. I made a light work to move the wire without to unsolder it.

Dear David, thank you! About the shipping, I hope to go to the postal office between wednesday and friday. I have to find a friend which comes with me. The package is big and I need a "driver" for the car to arrive near the post office! Important: look for a General electric lamp, 24 v. 200 watts EJL (not others codes). In the projector there is a EJL lamp but from an unknow factory. That lamps from General Electric are the best. bye

Hi David, there is message for you. Excuse me folks for this private use of the forum, but the mail box of David doesn't work, so this is the only way we have to communicate.

I do agree with Ugo on the lamp front. Use EJL's NOT ELC's. Some people have said it is ok to use ELC 24V 250W lamps as a replacement for the ESC. Dont do it as it drwas 2 amps more from the transformer. What would you prefer a little less light or no light at all which is what will happen if the transformer burns out and oh yes they do before anyone says they dont!

Hi Kev, Am I correct in assuming it would be OK to use the ELC lamp, as long as you keep it switched only to the LOW lamp setting?

Hi David, the Elmo is coming to you. the shipping code is EP066405142IT. about the difference, don't worry: it's very little (four euro). It means you will come to Italy to offer me a coffee Hi Paul: it's wrong to use the ELC. This lamp is a 250 w. It means the Elmo transformer (made for a 200w.) isn't able to supply the lamp at the right voltage. At the low setting a EJL works at 21/22 v. about; insted the ELC (250w.) works at 20/21 v. The halogen lamps give the right color temperature at the max voltage only. Less voltage=lower color temperature=your films become yellow.

Hi David, I called to italian post customer service to have news about the travel of the Gs. Yesterday it was at the Milano airport to wait for his fly, in a VIP room. Anytime I sell a Gs I'm anxious to know if the buyer is happy for the performances of "my" machine, so I'm waiting you get the GS, like you... I hope you'll get it in the first days of the next week.

Hi David, please, explain what are the damages to the projector. I'm astonished! The package was made very well! This is not the first time I send a machine by post...I'm so angry with the postage service! Is it the GS working? Anyway don't worry: we'll find the solution. I'm able to repair every damage to the projector. I'm thinking to this solution: you send me back the machine, and I'll pay the shipping cost to send back to you the projector again. Did you make a claim when you got the package?

Hello Ugo The machine works perfectly and is as you describe but has been damaged as follows,
The area around the top of macnine that the carrying handle is bolted to has received what must have been a severe blow,ie dropped in transit because this area where the rear of the handle joins the body is split and has sunk down 6mm from the line of the rear cover. It may be possible to straighten this out .The carrying handle is also cracked. The box is a bit squashed in one corner but not enough to alert you to a problem until opened.Having just examined the box, knowing the contents to be damaged,I would say almost certainly the box has been dropped onto one of its corners from a great hight

Ok David, I know this problem because it happened to an Elmo of one of my friends. To repair PERFECTLY the machine is necessary or to change the chassis or to disassemble a lot of parts inside to straighten the chassis. After this job, with plastic for car and black paint it's possible to obtain a machine like new. If you want, send me back the machine and I'll repair it perfectly or changing the chassis or to repair it. When a problem like this happens I ask to me: "do I have guilt for this?", but I know the package was big enough to avoid damage to the machine. Of course if the post service launches the package from the plane on the landing track (how many metres?) there is not in the world a package good to avoid these problems... Let me know...

Ok David, Please, use a second package bigger (incredible!) than the package I used. So, please make something like a "Matrioska"
