Can anyone tell me how to get hold of these on Super8 or 16mm? in black & white. I am after the ones I'll Be Glad When You're Dead You Rascal You, Red Hot Mama, Betty Boop's Halloween Party, Snow-White, The Old Man Of The Mountain, Stopping The Show. Anyone who can direct me on where to buy these would be a great help.

Thanks,

Robert.

I believe that Derann may have a few of those titles, but BEWARE BEWARE!!!!! THE COLORIZED COPIES OF THESE CARTOONS!!! Especially the more famous ones, (like Snow White) were colorized in the early 70's and when they did so, they took out a lot of frames, so that the end result, while in color, was very choppy, making these classically animated films look like some TV production joke. Those colorized ones are around on super 8, (such as Minnie the Moocher, which I used to have), so just remember, any colorizd Betty Boop has been altered from her original format. There were some later Bettys actually made in color. If you ever have a question, please contact me and I'll help! sincerely

Ahh, these would be amazing to have on super-8! They're so surreal...

Shame to hear about the colourized versions though... [Frown]

No substitute for film of course, but you can download the black+white versions of some of these and many other great classic cartoons free from:
