hi there fellow members.can anyone recommend a good quailty scope bracket for the elmo gs1200.the scope lens is a kowa 16h.are they any good and will cutoffs show up on it?.cheers andy.p.s what sort of price are the brackets now.

These ones look good, although I haven't seen one in use. The only drawback is you don't have the convenience of the 'swing' type.

It's a pain that Wittner don't accept card payments or PayPal, though, which seems odd nowadays.

NOTE: Just checked the page and I'm afraid it looks like the the GS bracket has been discontinued. Perhaps one of our German members can confirm this?

I have one of the Wittner holders. It's nice and with a complete set of rings you can use any kind of scope lens, from 42mm to 62mm.
An alternative can be found on FFR's web page , click on "Anamorphotenhalterung" and scroll down.
But the Spondon swing away remains the reference. Watch Ebay.
