I bought this machine at eBay and had it delivered last week;I knew there was a problem with film threading and thought I could deal with it,only to find out I just can't:it seems the film won't pass through the sound head-some parts look like 'stuck'there and won't let it go through. Is there anyone out there who has an idea to help me deal with this from any other point great projector?

Hi Yanis,
I'm sure many more knowledgeable folks will chime here as well. I'm not at all familiar with the projector but if it's anything like the ones I've seen and own, there will be a mechanical cam assembly from the Play or forward switch that activates the whole thing. Part of this releases or pulls away the guide and/or pressure pads that maintain film contact with the heads. It sounds like yours is stuck in the play position. You will need to follow the linkage to these pins/pads to see why they are not pulling back from the heads. You may also need, with the machine unplugged and in the Forward play position, to "carefully" with either your finger or a small screwdriver on the linkage to the pads/pins only, see if you can push them away from the heads manually. The lube may have just dried up on the linkage and they are stuck shut.
White lithium (and a very small amount also) may be all that's needed to free them and get them working properly. Just be very careful around the heads and wiring itself. Very fragile.
If they move freely, I would say you have damaged or bent linkage that is not contacting this part any longer.
