You just have to love couriers, I have just purchased a GS1200, it arrived this morning. When I plugged it in the fan comes on both arms reels rotate, but the motor is as dead as a Dodo, then I noticed a crack on the back casing. It looks as though it has been thrown around a warehouse or two before kindly delivering it to me, does anyone have any idea as to what the problem might be and could it be repaired, I don't want to return the projector as I didn't pay a lot for it so I would like to try and get it up and running. Does anyone repair these projectors ? (up north) any help would be good help, cheer's, Del.

Mikes suggestion sounds like a good place to start. The other thing it could be is a crack in the circuit board at the rear if this is where the crack is.

I am willing to have a look at it for you but unfortunately I'm down in the south.

Kev.

GS1200 Xenon with Elmo 1.0...great combo along with a 16-CL Xenon for that super bright white light.

Del

Is this the machine that you thought you might have to scrap? And did you ever get it running?
