Hi, Would anyone know where I could get a belt from ( preferably in the UK) for my Silma 240 S Regular 8 sound projector, The width of the belt would control the speed from 18 to 24fpm. Thank you, Brian

If you cannot source a proper belt,contact Bristol Cine Sales,they sell two thicknesses of 'endless' belting by the metre.It is jolly good stuff (you join it with a hot knife blade-dead simple)and last forever.I have used this product on two or three of my old Regular8 machines and it works well.
They are on the internet - just type in Bristol Cine Sales and it will give you several options. [Smile]
