lately when I turn on my ST1200D to the first (on/run) position, it takes up to 30 seconds or so (just a gentle hum) until the motor starts running fully. I'm about to open her up to install a new set of belts, so any suggestions will be appreciated? thanks [Smile]

A new start-up capacitor should do the trick, one of my projectors started OK but then slowed down! Trouble was this capacitor. They are only cheapo items and easy to obtain from any electrical factors.
Hope this helps

Not heard of that one before but it makes sense.

Hope it cures it.

GS1200 Xenon with Elmo 1.0...great combo along with a 16-CL Xenon for that super bright white light.
