Hello everyone. I wonder if an owner of an Elmo ST180 could help me please - I obtained a heavily modified version of this projector a while back which, whilst it probably served its purpose initially (modified for variable speed, frame counting pulses etc) for me it was blowing fuses and generally playing up big-time! I have since removed the mods, rewired the machine to original spec. as far as possible, and it now works very smoothly but with no sound! Having checked the wiring to the sound board I am convinced that the yellow & red (5v & 12v) supply wires are missing - likely removed by the chap who originally moded it as a silent telecine machine? So, can someone possibly supply me with: 1. A clear close up picture of the plug coming from the rear of the machine / transformer area to the sound board? 2. A clear, close up picture of the soldered on wires on the sound board itself. 3. A scan of the schematic wiring / circuit diagram.
Thanks in advance for considering this however do not simply remove covers and the sound board to help me if you are not sure about refitting these things as I don't want my gain from your help to result in a knackered projector at your end! PS: Although the models are similar the wiring & boards are very different between the Elmo ST600, ST160 and ST180 and it is the ST180 only I need pictures of please. Thank you, Kevin
