I have an old COPAL CP sound 502. It's rather beat up, (at least, on the outside), and for some reason, I love this old bucket of bolts. No matter how much it's went thru, it still runs pretty dang good and, in fact, I was even able to open up the back and FINALLY correct the speed problem (it always ran a little fast), as well as the lower optical sound levels; that's fixed too.
What has really bugged me with this projector, is that has a nasty habit of scratching films. No matter how clean I keep the film gate and all areas the film passes thru, it still scratches and yet, I can't see a single place that there are any scratches or marks in the film path.
Any advice guys?
