I got some News parades that the films thenselves are in good condition, they look to be hardly used. they have no water damage but they smell of a basement. I have film cleaner for the film itself, but is there a way to get the smell out of the boxes? I have never seen films with a smell that are paradoxicaly otherwise good condition. Thanks

Eric, I have sprayed Fabreeze on old 78rpm record jackets and let them air dry. Just a light dusting of spray(don't saturate). Also, a little sunshine will help but not to long or they will fade.
