I agree John. Those Universal 8 2X400ft digests were only about 15 and a half to 16 minutes per reel, which allowed that approximately 32 minutes digest to just barely fit on a 600ft reel.
I don't think that it's as much of a matter of "The Blues Brothers" being rare, as people probably, for the most part, just holding onto the title, as I see it now turning up more often, perhaps because of this Forum beinging it up. I believe that a lot of people check out this forum, just to see if there is any interest, (this is where perhaps a large number of our "newbies" come from, people wanting to sell thier collections, and drumming up business for thier titles. Nothing wrong in that.)
Still, I just think that a bidding frenzy spilled forth on the title. The person DID say that it was just a 600ft reel, and a 30 minute cutdown.
If you ever want to sell your print, give me a e-mail, though I can tell you, ahead of time, I'm not paying no 150.00 dollars. That seller really scored!
