Hello I put a wanted ad in our local FILM BUFFS mag wanting to buy a ST1200 and someone replyed today saying that they have a ELMO ST600, I have never head on one before so I would like the low down on them I have been told that it is a dual track model? Comes in its box and all its accesories for $120 Thinking to buying it because the price is quiet good...... Pat

Agreed; an great little workhorse!
Search the forum for ST600 and variants; there's a lot been written quite recently, including my conversion for Stereo using an external amplifier. ST 180 is basically the same machine, just cosmetic differences. Martin

I owned one too for a brief period and it is a nice machine. I do like a larger reel capacity and brighter bulb in my home cinema, but sometimes the we like to take a small projector upstairs to the living room and project onto a five foot tripod screen. I use the ST-800 for this now.

Hi Dan I have a GS1200 that I use for long shows on the 1200ft reels so I thought the ST600 would be good just to run the odd 200ft or 400ft digest on and it is not as heavy to carry around like the GS1200. Pat
