I agree, this wouldve made a great horror title. Its got some great black humor to it. In fact, it's one of my favorite later day Vincent Price films. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a big hit with fellow actors as well. (The abused by the critics actor who kills off the critics who killed his career!).

Osi - It IS popular with actors and theater people. I worked on a Broadway show a couple years ago and I said to the director, "What are we going to do if the critics trash us?" and he replied, "We can just kill them off one by one like Vincent Price in Theater of Blood!" I was so excited that someone else remembered the film like I do...
PS: In the end, the critics did trash us... but we decided to let them live.
