Lets put the record straight, so that there can be no confusion whatsoever.

DERANN WILL BE ATTENDING THE OCTOBER BBFC FILM CONVENTION IF ANNOUNCED.

We have never indicated that we would NOT be attending and personally, I am very surprised and disappointed with the leaflet that was handed out to all customers stating "If we have an October event, neither Derann and Classic Home Cinema will be present ..."

Obviously I cannot speak on behalf of Classic, and suggest that you contact them directly, but in closing let me reiterate that Derann has, and always will, continue to support the BFCC.

Kind regards

Adrian Simmonds

This is great news. The BFCC would NOT be the same without Derann. There has not been a single year at the BFCC where I haven't made some superb purchases at the Derann stand, as well as receiving some hilarious jokes from Gary free of charge. All of the team who attend (Gary, Steve & Ged) must be thanked heartily from all of us collectors, because they have to get up before 4am in order to attend. This is very much appreciated.

Hear, hear!

I only spent a few pounds on Saturday with Derann, but Gary remembered who I was and even related some of the content of my postings on the Forum. Steve also recalled some of the films that I had bought previously.

WHAT A TEAM!

Just plucking up courage to spend a few more £££s with Derann, but having bought so many 16mm features recently via the various Forums' members, particularly from the States, I've got to be a bit careful!

Valves and celluloid - a great combination!
Early technology rules OK!

Adrian,

What a relief! That is some good news. I wasn't there (sadly) so didn't see the leaflet but I would certainly echo the previous post. The 16mm films I have bought from you in particular have been of great quality and it wouldn't be the same without you guys.
