Were there any underwater super 8 short documentaries made in 'scope.

I am looking for stuff like the footage Jacques Cousteau shot.

200ft length would be ideal.

Cheers, not sure if I should invest in yet another pearl diving short (I have five).

Worth considering, though. Thanks.

6 films could be enough to start a "genre".

What are these films like? Are the divers Scuba equipped or swimmers diving from the surface?

"Tears of the Moon" has always interested me, I just haven't gotten around to buying it yet.

They dive from a rowing boat led by some old bloke who stays aboard and makes himself tea while the nubile, often topless, young women dive for pearls leaving a wooden pail on the surface to act as a marking buoy cum float. They cover their finger tips to keep them warm - though not their breasts for some odd reason. It no longer exists apart from one area where it is put on as a display for tourists.....
