Chris, it is a standard 8 and silent.
You can recognize it by watching carefully reels type and film itself (not a minimal signal of brown magnetic stripe).

You can ask directly to the seller, anyway.
Ciao.

OK.

I asked him, but he didn't have a clue.

Ops, did not know you already asked him.
Anyway, if you are looking for a sound edition on super 8, that's not your cup of tea.

Here's the one, in case:

The music box (Blackhawk)

I already traded with this seller. Very nice and reliable collector.

Good luck [Wink] !

Chris,

Gian is correct.

Another clue is that the
reference on the side of the box is: 810,
and that is Standard 8 Silent.

Hi Gian,

No problem.

Just as a future reference, here are the prefix codes.

810: Standard 8mm Silent

860: Super 8mm Silent

830: Standard 8mm Sound

880: Super 8mm Sound

Early Blackhawk shorts were also in original
10 minute - 1 reel sections.

My regards to Verona.
How is the weather? Tonight in the NYC and
surrounding region, we are experiencing heavy rain.

Very cold indeed, here. Even if it was sunny, today.
Hope to come to visit New York soon.
I had to come in summertime, but I finally did not.
Probably before the end of the year. We'll see. Snow will be definitely better than heavy rain eh eh eh.
Ciao.

Christian, ...Michael is right.

In the future if you are going to buy Blackhawk use the label on the box side to know what sort of films you are dealing with.

Many sellers do not have any idea when selling films but with Blackhawk box you can get much info.

So, beside that prefix number which is usually followed by catalog number (e.g 880-xxx-xxx) there is also FTG info stands for Footage. So if it is written FTG 425 = 425 feet films.

Blackhawk was so honest on the length of film. And sometime very much generous by putting a bit more than the max length of the reel (while on contrary many companies put 150-175 feet film on 200 feet reels)

cheers,
